Writer | Journalist

Bio

I earned my professional credentials with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from San Francisco State University, specializing in magazine publication, as well as a professional diploma in European Reporting from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and the Danish School of Media & Journalism.

A Native Californian, I have lived and reported from cities such as San Francisco, London, Madrid, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, as well as regions within the Baltics, greater Sacramento and the Sierra Nevada Foothills.

I write articles focusing on culture and lifestyle, as well as short stories of creative nonfiction and personal essays. I've also ventured into European law, economics, and foreign policy. My expertise is covering the Arts—with stories ranging from musicians and painters, photographers and artisans, entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations, venues and restaurants, live performances and various other social events.

My portfolio currently holds online & print editorial in San Francisco Bay Area's 7x7 Magazine, Style Media Group's regional publications of Style Magazine, including Folsom | El Dorado Hills, Roseville | Granite Bay | Rocklin and the Sierra Nevada Foothills, as well as Golden Gate Express's [X]press Magazine; the student-run bi-monthly publication of San Francisco State University.
